That's as far as I'm willing to do for you, as mentioned most of the food in modern British is French themed also.
I am capable of using google if required, but I asked you the question, not google. Do you have your own opinions or not?
Of course there have been a number of european influences since the British were conquered by the Romans, and others.
Modern British food has much more to it than centuries of diluted Gallic cuisine. If your statement were correct, the French diet would be more like the Brits, and it so clearly isn't.
I'm sorry I don't know every French restaurant in the British Isles.

If you give me some examples of classical or modern British food I may well be able to help you in your definition of British cuisine, that is served in fine dining restaurants.

    You started the thread, right?

Your thread indicates that Americans only pretend to enjoy ethnic food. It's something you thought worth posting, so most would assume you have an opinion on the topic.

As a self proclaimed chef, you must have an opinion on American dining opinions.

Could you express an opinion of the content you posted in the OP?
I haven't been to the USA in the best part of twenty years, so for me to have an opinion on American dining I'd be posting on my experience, from the past

When I post topics of conversation I don't always know everything about the subject, though like to see what others think of the post.

let's look at it from a different direction if you're a normal joe blow Amercian, I'd say fuk they eat a load of shit.

And also I have noticed not just in your country but others as well when the public learn a little about food some come to be pretentious fuckwits.

Nah you've stereotyped yourself with the food you eat.

As the saying goes you are what you eat.

I would imagine so. Hard to hold a candle to the mother nation. That said there are so many new restaurants opening in Seattle. This boom just doesn't seem to want to stop. There used to be very few ramen places for example now there are tons of them. Lots of cheap Japanese and also high end places too.

Well first off it is not real Chinese food. It is "American Chinese". You have to go a Chinatown in a major city to get the real thing. That said I grew up eating the American version and I love me some chow mein and sweat and sour pork.

Some Americans who opened an American Chinese restaurant in China..

I agree to an extent, but honestly a lot of the food in China is even worse. Its American Chinese, but its also a subset of what you can expect in China. A lot of the food on offer in China itself is really, truly crap.

Some really good stuff too of course...

that's probably true no matter where you go...horrible restaurants in France and Italy are commonplace, particularly in tourist areas...

I was just surprised at how many locals in China eat this crappy food. I guess its not much different from America in that respect.
