Last night, we had fried chicken, rice, cucumbers and onions in apple cider and fried okra (lady fingers)

The wife marinaded the chicken in buttermilk and spices overnight.

Decided to head to the local Italian joint for dinner and was not it was not disappointing. Good western food can be hard to come by in Mandalay but Mangia is always on point. 7000 kyat for the pasta which is less than $7, I think that's pretty reasonable.

Followed it with a tiny brownie and coffee
