^^ I don't blame you for putting up a brave front. All you have left is your self-deception.

Take note Donald.
One wonders what a duly elected government official, known by all prior to be elected, to have certain methods of success, should do when accused of fake offenses by proven fake "news" outlets and their "unknown" sources.Originally Posted by Norton

Report: Trump Aides Had at Least 18 Exchanges With Russians
WASHINGTON —
Michael Flynn and other advisers to Donald Trump’s campaign were in contact with Russian officials and others with Kremlin ties in at least 18 calls and emails during the last seven months of the 2016 presidential race, current and former U.S. officials familiar with the exchanges told Reuters.
The previously undisclosed interactions form part of the record now being reviewed by FBI and congressional investigators probing Russian interference in the U.S. presidential election and contacts between Trump’s campaign and Russia.
Six of the previously undisclosed contacts described to Reuters were phone calls between Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak and Trump advisers, including Flynn, Trump’s first national security adviser, three current and former officials said.
No evidence of wrongdoing so far
Conversations between Flynn and Kislyak accelerated after the Nov. 8 vote as the two discussed establishing a back channel for communication between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin that could bypass the U.S. national security bureaucracy, which both sides considered hostile to improved relations, four current U.S. officials said.

This administration is a nest of liars. Pence claimed he knew nothing about Flynn taking payments from Turkey until March. He claimed to be lied to by Flynn after Sally Yates revealed that Flynn could be blackmailed by Russia. Elijah Cummings said he sent Pence a letter alerting Pence to Flynn's ties to Turkey in November which Pence claims he does not remember. Now the New York times is saying that the White House transition team was warned about Flynn's ties to Turkey during the transition. Pence headed up the transition team. It seems obvious Pence lied about Flynn. Just a massive cover up.

What is that supposed to mean? Do you mean Russian officials?Originally Posted by Cold Pizza
The fact is that Trump claimed that there was no contact which was clearly a lie.
The lies don't bother you as someone not being a Trump 'die hard'?
the sad thing is there is plenty of angles to attack Trump, and yet they chose the less effective one
how more incompetent can they be, no wonder they lost the election
The relentless rush of Trump-related leaks continued on Friday, as the Washington Post revealed that the FBI’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 campaign has now focused in on a high-level employee currently working out of the White House. Citing anonymous sources, the newspaper did not name the senior Trump administration staffer but said that the individual had become a “significant person of interest.”
Mike Flynn, Trump’s former top national security adviser, was forced to resign after his ties to the Russian government were publicly revealed and he was shown to have lied to Vice President Mike Pence about conversations he’d had with the Russian ambassador to the United States, Sergey Kislyak.
According to a Wednesday report from the New York Times, Flynn informed Trump’s transition team on January 4th that he was under federal investigation for his ties to Russia and other foreign governments. Despite knowledge of the probe, the incoming administration decided to go forward with plans to hire Flynn as the National Security Advisor, a position that gave him access to America’s highest military and intelligence secrets.
According to the Times, Brandon Van Grack, a veteran espionage prosecutor, is leading a grand jury investigation that has recently been issuing subpoenas.
The larger Russia investigation is separate from the inquiry into Flynn’s previous work and may not result in criminal charges if the individuals involved were only found to have breached government protocol rather than federal laws. In the Post story, White House press secretary Sean Spicer was quoted denying that investigators would find anything incriminating toward the former Trump campaign.
“As the president has stated before, a thorough investigation will confirm that there was no collusion between the campaign and any foreign entity,” Spicer said.

It mentions that Breitbart and infowars among others are under investigation. A quote;
Surprise Surprise. The congressional investigators are looking at ties between those companies and right-wing web personalities based in Eastern Europe who the U.S. believes are Russian fronts, a source familiar with the investigations tells TIME.
The Russians must be laughing and think Americans are crazy
actually the world is laughing and think Americans are bat shit crazy
the funny thing is that Trump is looking more and more like the adult in the room
I guess your definition of adult and most peoples is very different because that is one of the most absurd defenses for Trump I have ever heard.Originally Posted by Dragonfly

again you misunderstand the whole situtation, it's not a defense of Trump, but a demonstration of the hysteria around all those public officialsOriginally Posted by Humbert
