I've done as as you said. But I'm going to try and get it done by a third party as I can't be bothered to go the distance for a 10 minute procedure. From my reading of the TM30 reporting it appears it's doable. I'll report back next week.
Things should be fun at Pattaya immigration office if the law is enforced. How many tourist per year go through there?
