Pictures from latest travels around Thailand (2017)

Another year has passed and our annual trip back to Thailand is over. I will post some of the pictures from our travels. The wife's family was waiting at our house when we arrived so we only had a few days rest before launching off on our first adventure. I suggested going back to Pran Buri because its not to far away and last year it was great. Unfortunately the stormy weather at the beginning of January caught us out.

It was ad to see the amount of beach erosion since last year.

Last year when we went the beach here was very wide. These stone walls are taking a real beating now.

We headed south on the small road that our hotel was on to see whats around. a mile or so down there was a little fishing village. The family was slightly interested.

Picking these crabs out of gill net is such a pain. Sadly no size limits in Thailand.

We had planned to go to a popular cave that is accessible by boat but it was closed do to the weather. Family wasn't interested in a hike over the mountains. So we settled on another cave we spotted while driving around.

Here is the name off it.

Luckily the man at the parking lot insisted we rent a flashlight. I really didn't know what we were in for.

Here is the dicey entrance. we were the only ones up there.

In this one you can see a ladder in the distance there were a few of these to navigate. This is why I love Thailand something like this would never fly back home some idiot would fall in a hole and they would shut it down.

After we got home from this trip we sent the family home and spent a week alone relaxing. Then it was one to Bangkok so we could hit Chinatown for toys that we needed to donate to the village school we planned to visit this year.
This next group of pictures where taken on the way to Chinatown.

started out at the pier near our hotel.

Even though the water is dirty as hell I still love it.

It's hilarious that some of these places have aircon. Everyone needs aircon right.

Some boys hanging out in the wood yard. That water line is something else. No swimming.

We got of the boat at The end I think not really sure. It was near that old white fort I read about where they are trying to evict people. Looked like a cool area but I'm not really familiar with it.

These two where from the outer edge of the grounds.

We carried on walking to Chinatown from here and got to see some cool local sights and action.

Nice waterfront location. I just noticed a sunbather in the picture.

There must be a specialty shop for anything a person could need.
