    Teak Door Hall of Fame

I can lay claim to TWO marriages & no kids - vasectomy.
The first was a polite way of leaving home. The legal age was 21. I got married 3 months after. My second was at age 27 (???). I can lay claim that I made the same mistake twice - both Poms (555). The second one even suggested that attending AA would be a good idea.
    Many, too many shack-ups.
My current partner (whom I choose to call my wife) was 24 (now 37). She wanted marriage but I sat with her & explained that a formal marriage means little in this day and age. I have suggested marriage a few times since but she states that she is happy as it is.

Two marriages, two divorces and five children. Came to the conclusion that I'm shit at it, so I ain't doing it again.
    Kids are great though.

Did not get married 'till I was 55, thank fuk it's been a real struggle not leaving. What people see in it i'll never know, far better off on your own if happiness and not being harassed is your thing

Too bad you married a "harrasser." Feel sorry for you. I'd find the exit if it were me.

The dating period is important. Watch how she interacts with service people. That's how she'll be treating you in 5-10 years time - so they say.

Also have a close look at her mom, she'll be like her further down the line - should have been a warning to me.

The sexy, fashion conscious chick I met ages ago has turned into a saggy rags wearing, broom swinging housewife wearing a bath cap all day so the fume from her self-rolled ciggie, stuck permanently in the corner of her mouth, won't make her hair stink.

Got married at 22. Best decision of my life, easily. My wife is way cooler and better looking than me, so that helps...

Didn't find the right gal till I was 53. Had two close escapes from marriage in Taiwan though.

Happily married now for eight years. She is a great companion and a delight to be with.....has a great sense of fun.

    Isaan, but not hot-tempered.

No kids and probably won't as she is 40 this year. Oh well...little buggers are too expensive these days anyway.

    Isaan!

Although I do not legally live there, damn close.
The age difference & hopefully serenity have been my saviors.

Hot headed but I love her just the way she is.

How much are short times these days? Always found them to be quite romantic.

What ever happened to plain screwing for enjoyment?
No promises to spoil an otherwise raunchy event.
In my younger days, there was such a thing as an arrangement - every Thursday @ 8pm. Get your rocks off & still get a good night's sleep in your bed.
    TASTEFULLY CONSUMATED OF COURSE.

    Agree.

Nothing worse than living in a lousy relationship, co-dependent on another insecure neurotic addict and calling it love.

No wonder some people love cats.

When employed in the Oz public service, Friday afternoon was Sportsmen's day. Go for lunch at 11.40am precisely. 7-10 pots (10fl oz. beers) (no need to keep count) Back at 1.55pm.
'Snooze' for a time to be determined. Flex off.
Local until 8-9pm - maybe a meat pie.
Then 'Tugboat Annies'. It was a dilapidated hovel with 20 of us lined up for a service.
TA was in her 60s but only $2 (this was in the 60s). Her minder sat in the kitchen with a claw hammer.
Hint - it was located near Lang Park.
    A delightful evening was completed with a $2 meal @ Mama Mia's.

THOSE WERE THE DAYS MY FRIEND.

Romance is not, historically, an eastern notion.
Romance by definition exists since one gender or the other said "No'
