    Floor waterproofing membrane

    Hi all,

Been looking all over, home pro hardware house ...etc..

for waterproofing membrane for a floor.

Anyone know where I can find some, the name of the product the price range, or a good substitute that would be efficient if none of the above is available???...

    Thanks,

    Paul

OK gentlemen... sorry should have mentioned that I haven't put down the concrete yet and that I am looking for a membrane to put under the concrete... some sort of plastic like back home.

    My bad,

    Paul

I purchased moisture barrier at SCG Home Mart 15 years ago when I laid my wood flooring. Don't know if they still have but give them a try. Have stores all over Thailand.

    ^^
Thais don't use it from observations. They use 'Portland Cement' followed by tiles. Even seen floors made from clay. They just throw it down and just keep working it until it goes off, leaving a shiny hard floor that is basically waterproof.

If you really want to put a membrane in then try and find a swimming pool constructor who will know where to obtain.
