    Well, you're likely to come across all kinds of stuff in this forum to grasp upon in desperation there, ray. San Francisco Values is a pertinent topic for these G_Dless times in which we find ourselves - surrounded as you will by secular-progressives who subscribe to the notion that 'if it feels good, do it'! Or, as Debby Boone so elequently stated: "How can it be wrong if it feels so right?"

    If you want to find a real bastion of San Fransisco values, check out the big island of Hawaii.
    San Fransisco is notable to me for it's diversity- there are many more Silicon Valley yuppie types there than radical lesbians you know. And it's homeless problem, indeed. Union Square appalled me.

    Yep...now I know this thread will never die - too much material.

    How about Kao San Road?
    Gotta few SF Values about there too, eh?

    Last time I was on the Big Island all I got was the stare-down competition from the local mokes. He who breaks eye contact first loses. That was in the 80s maybe times have changed.

    The lawn area in front of SF City Hall used to be a huge hobo camp complete with tents and porta-san toilets. They finally moved them out.

    I work with this hippie chick from SF ( ganja and fishermans pants) and she is the most bossy demented twat you could ever imagine... If she is from the heart of "liberal" America God knows what the backwoods people are like

    More evidence this thread will never run out of material!

    Nanny Government out of control!

    San Francisco's future burden is particularly heavy. Part of the reason is that San Francisco's health care benefits are among the most generous in the state. After five years of service, city employees are guaranteed lifetime health benefits for themselves and 50 percent benefits for a spouse or domestic partner. The state of California, by contrast, provides 50 percent health benefits after 10 years of service and full benefits after 20 years.

    Well, well, well, can you believe this? The bastion of left-wing moonbat values hates black folks!: Black Flight: Super-Liberal Totally-Tolerant San Fransisco Sees Black Population Fall By *Half*

    "According to Census estimates, the number of blacks here shrank from 13.4% of the population in 1970 to just 6.5% in 2005 — the biggest percentage decline in any major American city."

    boonie, you've already been told....pajama clad bloggers need not apply. even though you habitually attempt to disguise the source, all anyone has to do is roll their cursor over the link.

    and let's just take a look at what you posted....

    my guess at what the 'facts' really are----over the last 35 years a significant percentage of african americans have moved out of the incredibly expensive SF for the outlying suburbs..... and somehow your blogger has made the absurd leap that the people of SF 'hate black folks'.

    keep trying booner.

    Well, one of 'em is USA Today -

    San Francisco hopes to reverse black flight - USATODAY.com

    ray - the inference is SF values don't jive with Blacks. You certainly can be pedantic about these small points!

    That article mentions nothing about "San Francisco values", whatever those are, it does however specify a number of factors:

    -Soaring rents;
    -Home ownership prospects;
    -Safer neighborhoods;
    -Better schooling.

    So basically a number of factors most of which can be economically linked. Nothing more than a microcosm of what is happening across the US, albeit at a higher rate, and certainly not peculiar to San Francisco or "San Francisco values"... whatever those are.

    but for boonie's heroes in the pajama clad blogging community, apparently these are the same things as 'hating blacks'.

    i'm sure you can't be bothered to read this entire absurd thread, but it was revealed that the guy boonie started this thread about was actually from NJ.

    And the scene of the crime was where?

    if i remember correctly....a mentally ill guy from NJ got on a plane and committed a crime in SF---if that's all you need to come to the conclusion that it somehow represents the 'values' of the people of SF, then so be it.

    And do you recall what that 'crime' was?
    Assulting a Nobel Peace Prize winner who also just happened to be a Joooo. This 'crime' followed an incident where a choral group (Christian if I recall) were also assaulted for singing the National Anthem in...guess where?

    It's a repeated pattern y'all on the left refuse to see...

    Ahhh I see... so "San Franciso Values" are something that Booners simply made up/invented from thin air, undefined and applied arbitrarily and selectively.

    Almost makes sense in a weird, twisted-Booners-logic, kinda way.

    Oh I do beg your pardon, my humble apologies. I hereby retract my above statement and replace it with the following:

    Ahhh I see... so "San Francisco Values" is something that Booners simply plagiarized, has not defined because he didn't read that far into the blog, and applys arbitrarily and selectively.
