To obtain a Thai driving licence you must have the appropriate visa, along with a letter from immigration confirming your address. So, if, as I understand your post, you were thinking of coming here on a brief visit, basically to obtain a licence, I don't think it would work. Having said that, must admire your devious thinking, as I am sure that a trip to Thailand, with all it's many pleasures, would still work out cheaper, and certainly more enjoyable, than a course of lessons with the British School of Motoring.

Sometimes with authorities here, a test from a private hospital isn't recognised, it has to be from a govnmt hospital.

any how did get a resident certificate for the 4 time now and a new green book for my brand new bike. . still on TV. . any how. .soon i have Education visa better to wait to then and then go for the driving license.
