A great thread & such diversity in design, construction & materials.
My pick today - could change tomorrow.
"OLD MONKEY" - not too celubrious - great design - a real home!

Re Klondyke's build, I am very surprised by the outcome. Congratulations, Klondyke & spouse.
Worth another Post.....

^ It's a nice looking house but that red frame is hideous.
^^ Thanks, but do you like it better without the windows?
First time I've seen this thread. Some really great houses here. Lots of different visions for sure and different budgets.
Thanks for taking the time to do this WASP. Keep up the good work.
Thank you ltnt.
Incredibly ...... Incredibly .... I even get people criticising THIS Thread !
A perfectly simple compilation of completed house Builds !!!
One sad Troll - looking desperately around for SOMETHING to criticise - even criticised the FRAME that I put the pictures in !!!
Now that's someone with very little to do all day !
So thanks for encouraging but it's a bit slow now with very few houses coming to completion .

Hey WASP,
Look at the number of viewer's you have, That says everything that needs to be said. Complainers seem to be quite common as they rarely contribute a thread or a picture thread, only complain. Some complaints have good cause, while others simply moan.
Speaking of which, "Where's my build?"
Great thread and one that could go on forever or as long as ex-pats are building houses. CNX has one and the other CNX has one going...you're not keeping up WASP! Do you actually have a job as well a life 24/7? Unlike most of us retired gits.
Some pretty neat builds here, most surprising was LT's. I never figured he was "Bucks Up!" Nice looking places he and the wife put together. Fit right in to his location as well the type that many ex-pats would buy or like to build for themselves if living in a beach area. Beautiful landscaping and tile work. I'm pretty jealous of his work as you can read.
Keep up the good work Wasp. We appreciate it.
Well these are pleasing comments !
I even enjoy this Thread myself when from time to time I scroll through looking at the different builds and styles .
I didn't think there was a finished shot of your build to put up ltnt but I'll go and look again .
I also don't have a good final shot for CNX .
But as I said .... even with a simple Thread collecting pictures together I get THIS from my own Troll Neverna ....
" ...... Wasp. You are the friendless one.
Why on earth would you spend hours on a forum compiling pictures of OTHER people's houses? You're a weird old drama queen "
Makes you wonder why bother .
Then these decent comments come through and I think ' Fuck Neverna .'
Gotta go check ltnt again .
Wasp
OK ltnt .
I've been and looked . I think I was expecting a final flourish of pictures because you've still got tools and markers and lengths of pipe in all your pictures so I thought you were 98% done but not quite there .
It's a fine house - so I shall assemble a fitting Post for it .
Without being a weird drama queen .

Now that is a house I really admire!

Daylight pictures of a fine house .......

Wasp, I've posted some more recent pic.'s where the area around the house has been backfilled and rain splash concrete is in place. Like all houses they are "a work in progress." Thanks for the post.
Thanks for posting Waspie. The fence/wall is finished now, and the landscaping will start soon now.Originally Posted by Wasp
Keep it up Waspy. As ltnt said they are always in progress. Its a lot of work to try and keep up with posters final versions of their house. I hope to have my house in your thread at some point but it is still a long way off from being presentable.
