Yup thats what I had to do in the end mate , or else it can drag out a bit .

I went through all the funny Thai process of hiring a temporary meter that gets passed around the area , then getting most the deposit money back off that , plus a bit of a bung to get the proper one banged up on the external post .

Right chuffed I was when I got me own meter .

There,s a tidy bit of gear come round to collect the money on a Sunday every month to
I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs

^ Is it really necessary to play the local backhander corruption game when living here?

Depends how patient you are, you can always wait for your power supply. And wait...

Big house = big headache, or so I've found. Nice, tidy place for a good price SBF- I'm sure you'll enjoy living there.

I am not planning on being here more than a couple of months per year or buying a house, but I am curious.

Looking good SBF. Good colour choice and looks like you're gonna have some good lawns.

Do keep a ladder handy to change the light bulbs on that porch.

Don't really know what is going on with the house build as my site supervisor gave birth to a baby girl yesterday.

Little confused about the baby and who gave birth. I read it as your site foreman but seems people are congratulating you.

congrads SBF. my style too, small house and not too many xtras, BTW girls are great even in old age my two look after me cook me any thing I want and now that they are nearly teens, nice to have around I just need a big baseball bat to kill the scumbags that think they are good enough.

I thought a woman takes weeks of doing nothing to get over a " C ". . No lifting and stuff like that.

Anyway fatboy, well done on the Rug rat front.

Congratulations SBF. I am very jealous because I have 5 sons and a mate once told me you are not a real man unless you have fathered a daughter.

    Nice build !!

The house looks great! Thanks for posting pictures and plans. My wife have been looking to build something in Nong Khai and something similar to this would be perfect. Would love to see what you have done on the inside. And also, congratulations on your new little one. Looks like she arrived just in time to enjoy the new diggs!

Great start to 'The New Year' SBF congratulations.

That's a tidy home you have built, more than satisfactory
regarding costs all round. well done.

Kanchanaburi, nice spot on the map.

Usually quiet and sociable. Handy for a relaxing time,
but also good mountain regions if you fancy a trek or similar.

    Thanks!

Its whatever light they use to treat jaundice.
