    Mr Wasp
A great gallery requiring substantial research - "Farang Home Beautiful - Collectors Edition"?
What I find most interesting. Different budgets; different desires; different tastes.
Farangs have done more for LOS than just supporting bar-girls! A contribution to culture.

There isn't a construction thread to go with this .

What makes it interesting is that it appears in the Free Thai House Plans .
    As " Small 3 bed 2 bath bungalow ".

    * This is truly interesting .

Roobarb pointed me to this one .
It has a Thread ...... but it's in the Issan sub-section and sadly the Thread ended at this point .

Here's the plan for it and it looks a complex but fascinating build.

Pominasia's house is a really interesting combination of Thai traditional and a bit of modern - with those three gables and the tall columns. And I especially like the yard, because it is not too much and will "grow in" nicely, I think.
To say nothing of his beautiful fish pond.

This thread is something that I can view everyday and be inspired by.

The shit part is that this forum has changed so much that the posters who put so much effort into showing us there builds have simply disappeared.

So much quality input just gone.

Agreed.....quite the unfortunate turn the forum has taken.

There were the days that TD was famed for construction and how-to and DIY type threads....

    Red face

I think I know what you guys mean about the change in the tone .... and I kind of agree .
But when you post stuff and get no comeback you get a bit dispirited .
" Maybe people are tired of my stuff " . That kind of thought . So you trail away .

But also --- Marty , terp and 6kon have just finished their builds around the same time so its bound to go quieter .

    Here's another view of a build .
I already put Marty up but this is a different angle and I don't have a lot else to Post .

    ^ I second that Mr M!!!! Cheers.

All of them are really nice builds and designs. I like Waspy has put the names by TD reference so if you have a question you can PM them. I was on the fence a long time whether to build or not or even doing a thread on mine. I have been offered some very good input prior to and along the way.

I think its best to post and be diligent. Its an " in progress" deal so most people like to see updates even if its slow. Posters will chime in if they see something they can offer constructive input or have a question. Just look at the views and that gives you an idea if people have interest or not. I am subscribed to quite a few and follow them daily with my dose of caffeine in the morning.

I want to see more outside BBQ pics. That is my favorite past time.....

I third the above comments from Marty (FO) and JP. Before starting my build, I read many building threads, and they were very helpful - but obviously not helpful enough?! At any rate, I wanted to make a thread so others could get out of it something a bit like what I did with the other threads. So I put it out there "warts and all." The house is still not completely finished, so there may be a few more warts yet. A big thanks to Wasp for making this gallery a kind of H & G e-zine for people to peruse and then to follow up with the individual threads that they may have a particular interest in.
