As far as burning the American flag goes I don't have a problem with it. I think it's stupid but if that's what people want to do well then... Please don't overlook the actions of the leftist students and their administrative stooges. It's okay with leftist students and the PC crowd to stomp and burn the American flag but it's not okay to stomp or burn the emotional symbols of others. Why the inconsistency? I tried to make sense of it by saying the stomping and burning of the American flag must be some sort of cathartic self-criticism, self-criticism being so important to the health of a communist state. What else would explain the inconsistency? Then again the students' reason to cry foul could be cruder and more basic than what I guessed. It might have nothing to do with respect or any ideals at all. It may just be that Hamas and Hezbollah are the PC crowd's ally. Plain and simple they are defending a comrade in a common cause.

The College Republicans are charged with "allegations of attempts to incite violence and create a hostile environment," As I said before people should not offend others who have violent tempers.

ray, university is the last chance to play before children have to grow up and get a job. And what's more fun than playing know-it-all authority figures with a zeal to restrain others. Playing Nazis is a no-no so commies are the next best thing. And as far as criticism and self-criticism goes it shouldn't be reflexive like a dog's bark. It should be proactive like a little dog's yapping.
