All Pace said was the evidence the Tehran government is giving the orders isn't conclusive.
Iranian supplied weapons and military personnel are involved.
I guess Amadinejad neglected to fax copies of his orders to the Pentagon.

    Dear God, another worthless blog.

But this tidbit is good for a laugh:

Why is the nomenclature on the round in english? That is supposed to be an Iranian round and it's not in Persian script?

81 millimeter High Explosive, manu. March 2006? I don't think that the Iranians use the Gregorian calendar for their in house business. I think that it would reference 1426 in their calendar.
The item looks like it's been Photoshopped.

    Adolf Hitler or Mahmoud Ahmadinejad?
"I hope it will be spring all over the world. We shy away from any kind of conflict and any kind of bloodshed, and we will be sad by such. We are opposed to any kind of conflict and as we have said repeatedly we think the world problem can be solved through the use of logic and a sense of friendship."

"It believes it has, by making a major political and actual sacrifice, laid the foundation for an end to the centuries-long conflict between these two great nations...."

"There is no need for the use of force."

"It would be a wonderful thing for all of humanity if both peoples would renounce force against each other forever. The German people are ready to make such a pledge."

"We have a very good relationship with Iraq. We are historical friends. We have intermarriages between the two nations, and millions of Iranians and Iraqis travel to each other's countries. And our position for Iraq is very clear: We are asking for peace."

"We want to do everything we can to build a true friendship with the French people... The German government has the honest desire to do everything to build good relations with the British people and their government, and to prevent a recurrence of the only war between the two nations."

"And our position for Iraq is very clear: We are asking for peace, we are asking for security, and we will be sad to see people get killed, no matter who they are. It could be Iraqis. We will be sad if we hear they are killed or anyone who is brought there by force and is put in the middle of the conflict."

"The German people has no desire to see the French suffer, nor do the French desire that for us."

"Our people have no problem with American public and we have a very friendly relationship and this friendship is so great, that I wrote a letter to the American government..."

"Neither does Germany have any difficulties with England, aside from colonial issues. There is no reason for any kind of conflict

i'm seriously considering putting boonie on ignore. i currently don't have anyone on 'ignore', and in the past didn't really understand why people would bother.

but he primarily links to extremist blogs in an attempt to bolster his view point, and it frequently appears as if he is being deliberately disingenuous. and when a misrepresentation is brought to the attention of other posters, he either disregards it or revels in it.

and this is not about my objecting to his opinions on any issue. there are plenty of other posters who have similar views, but at least they take responsibility for what they post.

Your problem, ray, is that an opposing viewpoint cannot be tolerated. Everything I post to or link to is far from an extremist viewpoint.

So, from parts of roadside bombs, to weapons, and now 81mm rockets, that's an astonishing mutation over 2 pages in Booners' mind!

One couldn't give a better parody of the stereotypical ugly fear-mongering prelevant in the US if one tried to.

You should apply for a job at Fox News, B.M.

Yep...life in the warm, cloistered world of a TEFLer or living out in Nakhon Nowhere has addled your brains, boys. There wern't no backtracking on any points. Living in the Baan Nok as a gentleman of leisure, I can understand but reading comprension should be a requirement for a so-called 'acadamic', eh?

Why...do you keep harping on about misquoting/misrepresenting there, Headmaster? The headline re. Iranian weapons alludes to a much different animal than what General Pace said. Anyhow, them weapons are getting in from Iran which is the main point here no matter how you want to deny. It's all coming out...
