The term 'San Francisco Values' was originally coined by Dennis Hasert to describe how the country does not need Nancy Pelosi with her San Francisco Values as Speaker of the House. From there, the term was picked up by 'mainstream' America i.e. NASCAR Dads & patriotic folks in general. You could as well define an entity such as 'Houston Values' too I guess...
I'll let you fill in the blanks - I'm sure it's no problem.

but you're still not answering the question....the incident in the OP...what does that have to do with the city of san francisco, the people who live there, and their 'values'?

Ah..., as I said, just another strawman to be used by the looney right fringe in their so-called 'arguments'.

As I've posted earlier, that incident would not have happened in, say, Houston, Texas which speaks volumes re. the 'values' or lack thereof exist within a good portion of San Francisco's populus.
Any y'all recall the Harvy Milk incident?
    Need I say more...

This was a so-called 'hate crime' against a Jew.
    Not your everyday run-of-the-mill 'crime'

On the same subject - how about the choir who were singing America the Beautiful or perhaps it was the Star Spangled Banner and were nearly beat to death? Which city was that?
You got it! those old 'San Francisco Values' again...

    Yeah...but not from some modern-day anti-semite.
San Francisco Values also emcompass places like Sante Fe, NM.
    Getting the drift now?

Haven't we established that neither the assailant not the assaulted had any links to S.F.?
Memory loss or being deliberately disingenuous again?

Your initial post has been proven to be utter nonsense and gibberish, pal:
Little wonder that San Francisco is the bastion of left-leaning moonbats...
    Pack it in, troll!

Give it a break, headmaster - that incident occuring in San Franciso, simply gives additional credence to the confirmed notion that SF is populated with a high percentage of moonbats.

    Censorship now, eh?
The thread is far from troll-bait.
It defines a whole segment of the population and is central/germain to the larger topic - Culture War.
Are you seeing the light yet?

Put that bong aside for a minute and read post #60 again.

Yes, nonsensical topics will be "censored".
    Troll elsewhere.

    OMFG.

What does Eli being attacked in an elevator have to do with some ficticious culture war, let alone, what people believe in San Francisco?

    That would be fine.
Please make the opening comment a bit more conducive for serious discourse, that's all I'm asking.

    Furthermore:

The term "San Francisco Values" originated at FOX News. Hastert and other simply picked up on it and have never been able to discuss what it really meant. Troll, -1.

The term "Culture War" has no precise definition but is considered to be anything which goes against White Christian America (including intolerance of foreigners, immigrants, non-Christians, etc). It is a hate-filled agenda that describes any perceived threat to White Christian Supremacy in America and the world. Troll, -2.

A random event of being attacked in an elevator has nothing to do with "San Francisco Values" nor some "Culture War." Troll, -3.

Really, BM, you are reaching in the depths of your toilet over this.

There are some stinky threads in this forum but I suspect this is the worst all-time troll in Issues.

I'd like to take credit for having started the all-time best/worst troll thread (believe me, stroller would be jealous) but I can't in this case.

A Nobel laureate from New York and a holocaust survivor, as the article says.

    What's your point, if any?
Any "culture war" or S.F. values here?

Well, some anti-semitic right-wing nut obviously disliked the guy, is this the culture clash? Red-neck racist fascists against urban enlightenment and liberalism?

The point, ad nasuem is that the incident occured in SF, bastion of left-wing liberal viewpoint. As well as the earlier incident I mentioned when members of a choir were singing the National Anthem and subsequently attacked by the good citizens of SF.

But at a closer look, the incident has as much to do with any left-wing liberals in S.F. as my dog with the sinking of the Titanic.
You've been thoroughly owned on the first page already.
