You're probably correct. It's hard to get a rope around a teenager's neck - unless he executed a cop in cold blood. Now, the state gets to take care of these miserable fucks for the next 60 years or so.

As to using vehicles as a weapon, hit-and-runs are a huge problem in some parts of the US, and carrying a pistol won't really help with that, either. Both Facebook and Twitter pages belonging to Edwards are filled with direct references to violence, drugs, and admiration for the rappers who glorify the thug life. Especially the 17-year old rapper Chief Keef from Chicago. …
Chief Keef is famous for relentless references to guns, violence, drugs and sex in his popular music videos.
But most of the time, Edwards was making up his own lines: “With my niggas when it’s time to start taken life’s,” he posted on Twitter three days before the killing.

SPOKANE, Wash. - WWII veteran Delbert Belton survived being wounded in action during the Battle of Okinawa only to be beaten and left for dead by two teens at the Eagles Lodge in Spokane on Wednesday evening.

Belton, 88, succumbed to his injuries Thursday morning at Sacred Heart Medical Center.

Witnesses say Belton was in the parking lot of the Eagles Lodge at 6410 N. Lidgerwood, adjacent to the Eagles Ice-A-Rena, around 8 p.m. Wednesday when the two male suspects attacked him as he was about to head inside to play pool.
Police responded with K-9s to track the suspects' scent but were not able to locate them.

"It does appear random. He was in the parking lot, it appears he was assaulted in the parking lot and there was no indication that he would have known these people prior to the assault," Spokane Police Major crimes Detective Lieutenant Mark Griffiths said.

Belton died from his injuries Thursday morning at Sacred Heart Medical Center.
"Shorty," as he was known by his friends at the Eagles Lodge, served in the U.S. Army in the Pacific during WWII and was shot in the leg during the Battle of Okinawa. He went on to work at Kaiser Aluminum at the company's Trentwood plant for more than 30 years. Belton's wife passed away several years ago.

He loved playing pool, even though he claimed he was no good at it and had been a member of the Eagles Lodge for the last four months. In addition to playing pool he loved working on cars.

Shorty was Ted Denison's best friend of 23 years; the two played pool occasionally and worked on cars daily.

"He was always there for me when I needed him," Denison said. "We'd joke back and forth. We were always having fun, some sort of fun."

He was the kind of nice old man who'd become your friend in minutes.

"Probably every time I come into town, he'd have a project for me to do," Denison said. "I thought of him more as a dad than I did a friend really."

Now, with the suspects still at large and the Spokane Police Department working to track them down, Shorty's friends are hoping for justice.

"I don't understand how somebody could do this. I really don't," Denison said.
Spokane police are looking for two male suspects in the attack. They said the suspects are African Americans between 16 and 19 years old. One suspect was described as heavy set and wearing all black clothing. The other was described as being about 6 feet tall and 150 pounds. There was no description of what clothing the second suspect was wearing other than a silk do-rag.

Last Friday, Christopher Lane, a 22-year-old Australian here on a baseball scholarship, was shot and killed while jogging in Duncan, Okla., population 23,000. He died where he fell.


Police have three suspects, two black and one white. The former said they were bored and decided to shoot Lane for “the fun of it.”




As Lane was white and the shooter black, racism has surfaced as a motive. Thursday came reports that killing a white man may have been an initiation rite for the black teens in joining some offshoot of the Crips or Bloods.


What happened in Oklahoma and the reaction, or lack of reaction to it, tells us much about America in 2013, not much of it good.


Teenagers who can shoot and kill a man out of summertime boredom are moral barbarians, dead souls.


But who created these monsters? Where did they come from? Surely one explanation lies in the fact that the old conscience-forming and character-forming institutions – home, church, school and a moral and healthy culture fortifying basic truths – have collapsed. And the community hardest hit is Black America.

If we go back to the end of World War II, 90 percent of black families consisted of a mother and father and children raised and disciplined by their parents. The churches to which these families went on Sundays were stronger. Black schools may have been largely segregated, but they were also the transmission belts of patriotism and traditional values rooted in biblical truths and a Christian faith.
Though such schools graduated hardworking, law-abiding and productive citizens, today they would be closed as unconstitutional.


Indeed, all of those character- and conscience-forming institutions of yesterday are in an advanced state of decline today.


Seventy-three percent of black kids are born to single moms. Black kids who make it to 12th grade may often be found reading at seventh-, eighth- or ninth-grade levels. In some cities the black dropout rate can hit as high as 50 percent.
Drugs are readily available. And among black males ages 18 to 29, in urban areas, often a third are in prison or jail, or on probation or parole, or walking around with a criminal record.


Where do the kids get their ideas of right and wrong, good and evil? In homes where the father is absent and the TV is always on. From radios tuned in to rap and hip-hop. From films where Hollywood values prevail and the shooting never stops. From street gangs that sometimes form the only families these kids have ever known.


Still, crime has fallen since 1990, we are told.
And so it has. But that is only because the baby boomers, the largest population cohort in our history, passed out of the high-crime age group a quarter of a century ago, and because the jail and prison population in America has tripled.

The question being asked now is how responsible is Obama for the Chris Lane Murder? After all, he inflamed the Zimmerman case calling little Trayvon a son of his own so now, that's become a battle cry for these punks and hoods who want to exact revenge on 'Whitey'.

Prosecutor: No race motive in shooting of Australian in Oklahoma | The Raw Story


WASHINGTON — US prosecutors handling the case of two black teenagers accused of shooting
dead a white Australian baseball player said Friday there was no evidence to suggest the killing
was racially-motivated.

The murder of Chris Lane, 22, in the small Oklahoma town of Duncan has triggered a race debate
in America after it emerged that one of the victim’s alleged killers had posted racist comments on
Twitter earlier this year.

Several commentators have questioned why authorities had not pressed to have hate crime
charges added to the indictment of James Edwards, 15, and Chancey Luna, 16, who are both
charged with murder.

However Stephens County District Attorney Jason Hicks said while authorities were aware of
the comments made by Edwards, there was not enough evidence to pursue extra charges.

“At this point, the evidence does not support the theory that Christopher Lane was targeted
based upon his race or nationality,” Hicks said in a statement.

“The evidence is insufficient to establish that race was the primary motive in the murder of
Christopher Lane.”

In separate posts on Twitter earlier this year, Edwards spoke of his “hatred” of white people.

“90% of white ppl are nasty. #HATE THEM,” read one tweet.
In another post Edwards claimed to have assaulted several “woods” — a derogatory slang
term for white people — following the acquittal of George Zimmerman for the killing of black
teenager Trayvon Martin in Florida.

Hicks later reiterated to CNN that he did not believe the crime was racially motivated. He noted
that Luna came from a mixed race family, and that the third teenager arrested with the duo,
17-year-old Michael Dewayne Jones, was white.

“I have nothing in my files, paperwork or audio recordings that suggest that Christopher Lane
was killed because of his race or nationality,” Hicks said on CNN.
Police have said Edwards and Luna shot Lane because they were “bored.”

“They were bored and just wanted to see someone die,” Duncan police chief Danny Ford told US media.

Hicks agreed that Ford’s explanation appeared to be the most likely.

“I tend to think that the police chief’s comments, that is they did it out of boredom are probably
accurate,” Hicks said.

Both Edwards and Luna were charged with first degree murder, a crime punishable by death in
Oklahoma.

Jones has been charged with use of a vehicle in the discharge of a weapon and acting as an
accessory after the fact.
