Ahmadinewhackjob wants to share Nukes with the Middle East.
But of course, the United Nations will never allow nuclear proliferation, eh?
Is there any excuse for the apologists?![]()

It's a very good idea that way they can use them on each other.
But sadly it's just a bluff to make the west think they are close to having a bomb.
There are doubts about how far along the program really is .
The sooner the better really then they will have to make good on their threats or look stupid. When that happens Israel will fly their 200 nukes back at them.
Hopefully everyone will have hydrogen powered cars and or be running bio-diesel by then. Iran might need five decades or so to cool off!![]()
Unfortunately, they haven't managed to stop Israel's secret labs either.Originally Posted by Boon Mee

Why do we worry about nukes? Nukes are so last century.
Biological terrorism...now that's something that should send shivers up people's spine. A single person gets on a plane, coughs, and infects everyone prior to landing in New York. Within weeks the entire U.S. is dead.
Who needs nukes?
Iran getting nuclear capabilities goes back to Rafsanjani.
People put way too much emphasis on Ahmadinejad.
Where were these people 10+ years ago?
Incidentally, don't start a thread with a politicians/persons/organizaitons name + "whack job," or other nicknames.
It's OK this time, but please make threads that have correct names.
True Milky, true! Well 10+ years ago there ain't no Bush the alcoholist.Originally Posted by Milkman

I'd say converting from the dollar to the euro for purchasing oil will have more devestating consequences for the U.S. than some paranoid delusion that an Iranian missile could ever travel and hit the United States.
With today's gutless leaders, I suspect if he had one and let it off at Israel there'll be a hoohah around the non-Arab/Muslim world, and then someone will say oops sorry won't do it again, and all will revert to normal.
This would have a devastating effect on the US and through it the global economy, far greater than a dozen 911s. If SH was moving down that road, as Iran now seems to be, it would be good enough reason for the US to invest those billions of bucks and thousands of lives to thwart.
Ahmadinejad seems to be losing support, even among the harline conservative that helped him come to power.
When food prices triple, nobody is safe from discontent.
His future may likely be tied to the economy.

Entire & Link: In Iran, discontentment over leader grows - Focus on Iran - MSNBC.comTEHRAN, Iran - Prices for vegetables have tripled in the past month, housing prices have doubled since last summer — and as costs have gone up, so has Iranians’ discontent with hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his focus on confrontation with the West.Ahmadinejad was elected last year on a populist agenda promising to bring oil revenues to every family, eradicate poverty and tackle unemployment. Now he is facing increasingly fierce criticism for his failure to meet those promises.
He is being challenged not only by reformers but by the conservatives who paved the way for his stunning victory in 2005 presidential elections. Even conservatives say Ahmadinejad has concentrated too much on fiery, anti-U.S. speeches and not enough on the economy — and they have become more aggressive in calling him to account.
“The government has painted idealistic goals like tackling housing problems and unemployment ... but no solution has been offered,” said Mohammad Khoshchehreh, a prominent conservative lawmaker, told The Associated Press.
Ahmadinejad’s government “has been strong on populist slogans but weak on achievement,” said Khoshchehreh, who campaigned for Ahmadinejad during the election.

A Deplorable Bitter Clinger
It does not particularly bother me if Iran gets nukes, and they likely will.
To use them offensively would be suicidal. But they are a big deterrent against invasion. Thus armed, the people may lose their government fuelled paranoia, and set about rejoining the international community.
It is ironic, but the Bush administratioins foreign policy and disastrous invasion of Iraq have pretty much thrust Iran into regional hegemony.
I don't know any Nabobs, nor supporters of the Iranian pres.Originally Posted by Boon Mee

I don't anymore.
So all TEFLers are now anti-Bush? Strange conclusion to reach.
I think it goes like this:
People on minimum wage and low income are not intelligent enough to earn more money, nor to form a rational political opinion, and of course these failures in life are envious of the success of others.
So naturally they are anti-American and hate Bush.
All 'liberals' lack intelligence and success in life, or are dishonest lunatics or want to steal others' wealth through taxes and betray America -such as commie Kerry and the Hildebeast.![]()
Iran has every right to seek nuclear weapons in order to protect itself from countries that seek to destroy it.
I'm not a fan of the Council that leads Iran nor it's public spokesman, Mr. Ahmadinajad.
But when you have nuclear weapons, you know that the likely of your nation being attacked diminishes.
The won't be the last nuclear proliferation issue that we face. There will be more in the future.
