    My Melanoma.

Recently Ive had some crazy arse shit going down as far as my health goes.

Last week I noticed a small brown mark appearing on my cheek, it looked a tad dodgy so today I got the Doc to check it out.

Sure enough its a full on Melanoma skin Cancer, the sort that sends roots down into your body and will kill you if not cut out ASAP.

Next week the Doc is going to cut the nasty little fuker out.

I had a full skin cancer check last year and was all clear, I recommend you dudes get yourself checked as this is serious shit if not sorted.

After I get this cut out next week I'm getting the Doc to give me a full check once again and will now make sure I get checked once a year.

Mad shit happening dudes, Hope I don't die before I spend all my Super.

    Foked up Innit.

Good luck with it, Terry. It seems like it was caught early on, so once it's cut out, you should be OK. Is there any other treatment besides removal, such as meds, radiation or anything like that?

i had a malignant melanoma removed last year, here in thailand.

the docs scared the living shit out of me before the pathology result confirmed it probably hadnt spread. i need checks for the next five years now.

was the docs diagnosis based on a biopsy, and if so what was the result, i.e. depth of the lesion etc.

they need to remove the full depth of the skin, quite a wide excision, depending on the depth the malignant cells have grown down to.

it spreads via the lymphatic system to distant parts of the body. it is aggressive and unpredictable.

good that you caught it in time. mr lick had a malignant melanoma, and i believe is having chemotherapy and radiotherapy right now for it.

hats and umbrellas for the sun now terry. you'll look a bit of a pooftah with an umbrella though.

When it comes to Melanoma the Doctors don't fuk around as they can be particularly aggressive and very fast moving.

The first avenue of attack is the carve the fukers out.

Lucky I could see it on my face and it was not hiding away on my back out of sight.

Melanoma is quite a common cause of death for Australians.

    Fok.

Seems like I dodged a bullet once again.

Take half a kilo of weed. Buy 70-99% alchohol (2 litres) from the pharmacy. Soak weed in alcohol for 10 minutes then drain. Put the liquid in a rice cooker and put it on cook. 20-30 minutes (watch carefulY) the alcohoil burns off completely and you have the oil. Produces a few ounces. Take over 2 months. Use topically on skin cancer.

Told to me by an old junkie mate - who also said weed price is 10k bt.

Heard it's worked for a few people - have a google.

I have a long term regular female Doctor who specials es in skin cancer.

She took one look at it today under here scope and diagnosed it as Melanoma.

I'm sure when she cuts it out it will be off to the Lab, she knows her shit so its Melanoma for sure.

Bloody lucky I spotted it and actually acted on it innit.

quackery pure and simple, should even be posting that nonsense.

there are 3 types of skin cancer.

    1. actinic keratosis, small flaky extrusions that are pre cancerous but do not spread, they can be frozen off with liquid nitrogen. caused by sun damage and usually found on the face and scalp.

    2. basal cell carcinoma, a more aggressive cancerous lesion, but usually spotted early as round red areas, sun damage again mostly, and can be frozen off or cut out. they can spread locally but rarely do they spread to other organs.

3.malignant melanoma, dangerous, aggressive and unpredictable. killers if not caught early and they have spread to other organs. they arise from moles, and sites of childhood sunburn. if they have grown beyond a certain depth in the skin, it can be assumed they have spread and further checks, scans and treatments are necessary.

now just which cancers do you recommend your hash oil for.

a melanoma needs to be removed to ascertain the staging and necessity or otherwise for further treatment, no good covering your cheek in hash oil if the cancer has already spread to your brain, liver or lungs.

    quackery. plain and simple.

    Top Advice Tax,

Much better to just smoke the living shit out of the hash oil or do hot spoons.

    They work well.

G'day Tez, the sun strength in Oz is like living under
a magnifying glass, damages the skin much more than
it does here,in the land of smiles.

    All the best.

Years of '"fun in the sun" can certainly come back to haunt you. Being a former sun-worshiper, I now have to avoid the sun as much as possible.

Fortunately we live in an age were UV-resistant clothing is readily available (although expensive) as well as good sunscreen.

Those, plus regular skin checks are now a necessity for me.

I would suggest anyone over the age of 45 who has spent a lot of time in the sun, to get regular skin checks by a qualified dermatologist. Fair-skinned people (red hair, freckles, etc) should probably start getting skin checks even earlier.
