As we speak. In a major cosmo / tourist area (nimin-heemen). A bunch of yellows just sought refuge in Hillside 2 lobby after the reds kicked the crap out of them in a street fight. Not too serious, no weapons or anything. Wonder what sort of coverage this will receive. The reds have been getting restless lately, seen some protesting in Lamphun a few weeks back.

This should not be treated as news, just gossip. Reports are that there was an anti-Thaksin meeting of sorts at Chiang Mai Uni. The reds broke a truce to not start any trouoble, and now have nimminheimen road closed...

Bit of a fizzer really. Still, the lack of Thai news coverage is interesting. You'd think something like this in downtown Chiang Mai would get a little play.
