Another post spouting trash that has nothing to with the facts The dude is unelectable. I, for one was scared shitless when GWB threw his hat in the ring. comparing the two situations, apples and organges. Ralph Nader did more to set our country back 35 years by throwing is weak, no chance, hat in the ring 7 years ago, thus splitting the vote and putting us right where he stood so proud against going.

Injecting some new blood and moving away from a two party, good ol' boy system is a good idea but that was not the right time there was too much at stake, Really showed the man to be slef-centered and as far As I am concerned, a liar.

Will a Black Muslim, with an name like Barak Hussein Obama be backed for any parties one shot at the oval office? Understanding the political situation in the US today do you really think anyone is seriously going to put him forward?

I say again, this is smoke and mirrors with at the very most and ulterior motive behind it. The Dems would be out of their minds to put him up. Even discussing it makes for a stronger republican shot at the next go 'round. The United states will not elect a Black Muslim this year. I don't want to get into the right and wrong of it. THAT IS NOT THE ISSUE, nor is it a point I am trying to make or even discuss. It is just not the political climate conducive to this kind of radical departure from traditional Pasty-faced WASP types.

So before calling something "Juvenile thinking" brush up on your reading comprehension skills, try to understand what is being said, then take the time to ask who stands to gain what by even putting the suggestion out there? (Not that I have clue) Seriously you think he could gain a nomination? If so wouldn't that almost ensure a Republican in the Oval Office?

Fuck what you think is right. What will the American voting public do? It is juvenile at this juncture in our history to argue the point; now is the time to take every precaution to oust the current administration (I am thinking of the machine that runs this one not the faces they have in there now) and get our country back form the wolves. You don't do that trying to force-feed middle America a Black Muslim. Thinking "It shouldn't be that way" is "juvenile thinking" IMO. It is the way it is; at this time in history you need to work within those parameters.

Be interesting to see just what becomes of it. If the man truly cares about the course our country is taking, if he truly thinks a Democratic President would be best for the nation, he would step down and work behind the scenes. He is Unelectable in this capacity. Any ticket with him as VP nominee or as Pres would be defeated.
