^why should an obvious america hater like Chomsky have any significant platform in the USA? He does get plenty of airtime on NPR BTW! I think his books are sold and in the libraries too. He's make a good living off his leftist extremism.
I wonder if Bill O'reilly would have similar opportunity in Venezuela or Cuba!

People like Chomsky and Michael Moore are laughing all the way to the bank peddling their disingenuous marxist rhetoric. It's happens only in america the place they hate so much!

As far as liberal bias in the media it's no secret the majority of news people are liberals.

David Gregory, Peter Jennings, Dan Rather, Hellen Thomas, Wolf Blitzer, the crew at CNN just to name a few. Or how about the entire staff of the NYT!
Slanted? No question about it.
Perhaps if you watched CNN when they were announcing the 2004 election results. On air their extreme disappointment was very palpable.
The only real counterbalance is Fox News. And oh how the liberals cry and moan about fox news and venomously denigrate and insult anyone who watches.
Mean spirited? Perhaps.
For liberals freedom of speech seems to only count if they like what they are hearing!
