I'm on the AIA 20Pay Life plan.
2 piss poor links here:
Products : 20 Pay Life Non Par AIA Helps.com
??????????? - ???????? 20 ?? (AIA 20 Pay life) | ?????? ?????????
There's loads of details but the main ones are:
Hospital room 2,200/day (max 125 days)
Daily consultation 800
Surgeon fee 60,000
Misc hospital fees 20,000
They pay 1,000 per day to you if you're hospitalised
550,000 in event of a car or bike accident
Tax deductible up to 100,000
100,000 payable upon maturity (20 years)
About 500,000 upon death.
My legal rep said this plan is probably good enough to cover half the costs involved if diagnosed with a serious cancer.
Also, AIA are everywhere and you shouldn't get a problem with any hospital in Thailand unlike you may do with Bupa. My rep is also an agent for Bupa and said you often have to pay the bill before trying to claim it back from Bupa.
Before anyone says that she must get more commission from AIA, she actually gave most of her commission back to me because she's a friend.
