22 year old man shot dead close to the Bali Hai Port on Pattaya Beach

22 year old man shot dead close to the Bali Hai Port on Pattaya Beach

A 22 year old Thai Man was shot dead close to the Bali Hai Port in the early hours of Monday only hours after attending the Pattaya International Music Festival with friends.

The body of Khun Gan was taken to the Pattaya Memorial Hospital where Police spoke with friends and family members of the deceased who revealed how the group were sitting and drinking close to the Port when Khun Gan told the group that he wanted to return home.

He left alone but returned moments later and shouted to his friends and younger brother that someone was trying to kill him.

Seconds later two motorbikes drove past and shots were expelled from a passenger on one of the bikes.

Khun Gan was shot and died on the way to Hospital.

Police have few clues as to who shot Khun Gan but did notice motorbikes being repeatedly driven around the Hospital as if someone was trying to check if he had died or not but officers were unable to stop and question them.

    The murder investigation continues.

Are you seriously suggesting there has to be a good reason to justify murder in this silly country?

Take your pick: he gave the shooter an ambiguous look, he was more attractive to the shooter's girlfriend, he laughed at the shooter when he lost at pool, he gave the shooter's best friend a drubbing or he bumped into the shooter and didn't say sorry.

These chickenheads don't need any excuse. They're just retards. But when apprehended you can bet your bottom dollar the shooter will say he's sorry and that he didn't mean it.

Two motorbikes, with the passenger doing the shooting, and then a team is checking the hospital to make sure the target died (with police noticing, but not picking them up). This description points to a planned hit, not a random drunken altercation escalating into murder.

The point is, there doesn't have to be a logical reason to kill someone in this stupid country.

The so called planned assassination as you imagine is somewhat unlikely given the apparently innocuous status of the victim. Doubtless, the chap upset someone which of course is a good enough reason as any to die at the hands of retarded monkey with a gun.
