There will always be something to moan about.

These people who do run down the Thais, include me in that one, would do the same about the locals if back home or anywhere in the world.

If not the locals, then the Weather or food or internet connection or TV or shite beer. The list is endless. That's what's great about these forums, you can get out all the stress

If it was within my power i would at least ensure that driving standards were raised, and enforced. I really don't think that would fuck up anyones holiday would it?

This is the nature of folks. Criticism and challenging will always be en vogue.
In a forward progressive intent, less demeaning - not just in relation to Thais and Thailand, but everywhere.

Whinging and moaning is anarchical in it's own way. Stimulation would lose it's edge if all where foced upon homogeny.

Upcountry Thais drive like Indonesians so nothing different there. It works if one pays attention.
On multi lane hwys. thais drive like Amercians, in the middle lane at the posted speed limit, lane discipline be damned.

I'm in the change nothing camp. Not everywhere can be the same.
