| When I lived in Bkk I used to play in the MBMG Farang League for SCI Robin Hood (used to be Blue Gecko and Hunters before that) all of the games are played up at Patana School and they've got a nice set-up there - three pitches and decent changing rooms.
Anyway, now that I'm living down South I have discovered that there is absolutely no infrastructure for footballers here. I'm not taking it seriously as I just want to keep fit and enjoy myself, but what about talented young Thai footballers? It's obviously a case of "you're nothing if you don't live in Bkk." Same as education really.
I now play every night at the local immigration office pitch with normally 20-30 other blokes, it's not quite jumpers or goalposts but not far off. |
