Samantha Stosur stunned three-time champ Serena Williams, 6-2, 6-3, to win her first Grand Slam title and become the first Aussie woman to win the US Open since Margaret Court in 1973.

doesnt really matter if the williams sisters have been on the pace or not.to go all the way and win any major in the world is a great achievement.
