Thread: Thailand 3 Oman 0. Could Thailand make the world cup ?

Watched Thailand beat Oman last night which was a big win for them and puts them one big step closer to world cup qualification. One more win and Thailand could be there.
Three very well taken goals :

That was an important win but the real test will come against the Saudis.

Thailand has an outside chance to progress to the final qualifying round but they will never make it to the World Cup.

The socceroos were lucky to grab a winner at the end after Thailand led 1-0 for much of the game at Suncorp Stadium at the weekend. Thailand looked like good value for most of the game and were probably unlucky overall.

The Matildas beat Thailand 5-1 the same weekend so the TGs are not playing so well as the Somchais.

Excellent bit of skill for the first goal, if that had been Rooney, Messi et al there'd be commentators having a wankathon over it.

I don't know. Bahrain have been one two-legged tie away from the finals *twice*, and their pool of available decent players could hardly be any smaller.

Just need a decent manager and the hob nobs to keep their fucking noses out and let him get on with his job.
