    Paternity Testing ????

A married friend of mine had a couple of encounters last year with a not so fair maiden. Not only has she said she was pregnant, there's a baby now here. The woman in question is really dark and the kid is pale, so there is a chance it's a farang's.

    My questions are....

Blood/D.N.A. Paternity tests? Where, how long and how much?

Sorry to the Mods if this is in the wrong forum.

    Cheers, DsD.

There's loads of places. Google 'DNA paternity tests Thailand'. The choice is yours.

All babies are pale when they are first born, they need a bit of sun to darken them up

Most of the information out there is by the companies or persons who profit by it. It is very difficult to get actual data. The claims that it performs as advertised are just marketing - no actual study has been done by those who are not employed by the company in some capacity. The argument that it is difficult to figure out which DNA comes from the fetus vs. the woman is garbage. They take the woman's DNA from the inside of her mouth, not blood. There are no fetal cells there. I wouldn't trust any tests done by the company themselves - many pharmaceuticals fake their results. You see it in the news all the time.

You can go to any clinic or Hospital in LOS and get a DNA test. If you do, maybe ask to have your Testosterone level checked too!
If your from another land you have to pay. If your a cheap Ass MF then your GF, Partner, or Better Half can use Her ID card for a substantial discount.

Just to play 'devil's advocate'- he also needs to realize that without a DNA test, he still has plausible deniability (if he wants to go that route)- if the test shows the kid is his, he's legally bound to provide support.

I think if it's his kid he should certainly provide support, but if he's married (and wishes to remain so) he might want to work out some other sort of deal with this woman.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

I agree, but how he does it depends on the circumstances.

If I were in his position and my wife found out, my marriage would be over- no ifs, ands, or buts- would I 'deserve' that to happen? Perhaps, but I would sure try and find a way to avoid it (of course, I would never be in this position in the first place)- getting a paternity test removes all doubt and also removes some of your potential options.
