One of the first bands I got into, being a bit away from teenage-dom at the time. Had some great stuff. Am sure these bring back memories of being E'd up in some house party for many.

Wonder if the KLF now regret the 1 million GBP they burnt as a publicity stunt back in the day.?

Some great records made by this lot. Still sounding good today as well.

KLF's 'White Room' is one of relatively few "House electronica' (or wotever they call that stuff) albums I would describe as decent- it is quite listenable from beginning to end, and contains more than one actual tune, or melody.

Not a big fan of their later remixed stuff.. but they went for the money and who can blame them.

The original '88 version of 3 a.m.Eternal is legendary though, one of the first UK produced house tunes, and a classic for the early ravers like me. Was out on white label the end of '87 It's certainly one that stuck in my mind and it took me years to get a digital copy of it.
It's the most popular tune on my YT channel with 426,675 views.

Sound/video quality isn't great but it was uploaded years ago when YT only used FLV and the file size was limited, so I just made up the video and tried to get as much audio input on it.

The later version in early '89 had a 'break for love mix' using the beat from Raze on the flipside.. a bit more dance than the original trance version. I like them both..
For me though it's the original one that brings the memories back.

I'm pretty sure the original of Last train to Tanscentral came out after that, I'll have a hunt for it.

I gigged in bands for about 15 years than had my own small recording studio.

I didn't need to get shit-faced to be able to put up with 'dancing' to a drum machine and a sampler.

When you put it like that it really makes you wonder how dance music became a phenonema and you didn't, it's a sad indictment of how stupid people can be. If only they had gone down the pub for beer, band and a fight instead, what a different world it could be today. Keep living the dream buddy, keep living the dream.

About what a big noise you were? Obviously. I must have been too busy having fun.

Anyway... this is the original mix of 'What Time Is love', that came out after 3am Eternal. !988..ish One of the early UK trance tunes.. timeless IMO. I've heard it played at many gigs and parties over the years.
