I too watched The Hangover 2. The copy wasn't bad. But the film is a whole world of shit. Amusement value spotting where they filmed it, but otherwise it's about as funny as National Lampoon's European Vacation.

    Which isn't saying much.

Better than that, Humbert, Dolores will be feeling positively neglected:

HBO has renewed its fantasy series Game of Thrones after airing only one episode. The show’s second season will likely debut next year and will be based on George R.R. Martin’s second book in his Song of Ice and Fire series, A Clash of Kings.

“We are delighted by the way David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have brought George R.R. Martin’s amazing book series to the screen, and thrilled by the support of the media and our viewers,” said Michael Lombardo, president of HBO. “This is the continuation of an exciting creative partnership.”

As previously reported, a Thrones renewal was likely even before the show premiered given HBO’s big investment in creating the world of Westeros and the potential back-end from international sales and DVD.

Sunday’s premiere ratings were fairly healthy too, with the drama delivering 4.2 million viewers across three airings.

    I didn't d/l I streamed it from here: http://www.icefilms.info/tv/a-z/S

Anyone seen 'Happy Endings', the series? If not don't bother. Missus wanted to see an English lakorn so I gave her one.

Probably why it got cancelled in 2010 after season 2 finished then, huh?

I'll let you off this latest faux pas, as it had her in it:

Dexter. Does it get any better?

I've just finished series 2 of Dexter and I did find myself saying ffs get on with it you serial killing knut as they slowly lost the plot.

I've got series 3-5 but does it get better? I know series tend to have poor patches, but have they already run out of ideas on this one?

Also I thought this slag was fucking dire, though I would ream her a few new holes.. do you think the really bad scene insert at the end were Dexter is suddenly in Paris and snuffs her is because audiences hated her too?

    Cheers.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

You're a long way behind. Season six starts filming at the end of the month. It still has monster surprises and I love it. They tend to kill off major characters to keep it fresh from season to season.

Good to know. I'm not much for watching series, but there's a lack of decent films and I'd heard a lot of good things about Dexter.

Try Luther as well, British series with Idris Elba. Only done one season, S2 just started I think.

Season 2 is starting very soon.

Have a go at The Shadow Line. It's about a gangster getting killed and his death being investigated by both the cops, the gang and (possibly) MI5. Got Christopher Eccleston, Stephen Rea and Chiwetel Ejiofor in it. Very cinematic for a British production and fantastically (imo) acted.

Up to episode 5 of 7 on BBC I-Player.

    Link to Episode 1.
BBC iPlayer - The Shadow Line: Episode 1

Or if that won't work, here:
The Shadow Line - Episode List - icefilms.info

    Enjoy.

^Gonna harp on about Game of Thrones again.
Read a few reviews here and also a couple (all?) my mates were raving about it.
Watched all of the 7 episodes released so far in a 2 day marathon and cannot say how much I have enjoyed it!
What was the last production (mini-series) thing you enjoyed excluding Band of Brothers and The Pacific?
Well this beaut of a production ticks all the boxes with double crossing, tits/fanny and blood thrown in.

    Bogon rating 9/10

Would get a 10 if I was an extra doing the shagging scenes!

Sidenote - The Imp is the best character by far. What a dude.
    Black diamonds? I shit 'em.

The Imp is superb. Steals every scene he's in.

I like Eddards bastard son too - I'm assuming that he'll come into it much more in later series.

It's got everything I want in a TV program - Murder, Revenge, Goosing, and Dwarves.

Thanks Al, I've been downloading this and saving it for when all the regular stuff has finished (which is basically now).

Going to do all five in a row starting when I've finished this Ploughmans and Port I made myself.

Bastard. I just had to make do with 4 hard-boiled eggs!
Hope you choke on it and not enjoy the series.
