The man was a fucking genius and a legend. And an Englishman.
And he looks remarkably like one of me bestest mates.
I'm a big Bonzo Dog Band fan. I have almost everything they recorded on my comp. I used to have a business with a basement workshop, a cast iron drainpipe came down from upstairs, I painted it...pink...of course, in honour of:
My pink half of the drainpipe.... separates me from the incredibly fascinating story of your life and every day to day event in each and every tedious attempt into detail: was it a Thursday or a Wednesday or - what the hell does it matter? because you're normal and if you're normal I intend to be a freak for the rest of my life and I shall baffle you with cabbages and rhinos in the kitchen and incessant quotations from Now We Are Six through the mouthpiece of Lord Snooty's giant poisoned electric head.
So theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrre!
spent many a day/night on the thekla on the spiss,mr stanshall r.i.p. was different , nice guy/ecentric to say the least, the song CANYONS OF YOUR MIND cracks me up evertime ..
SCROTUM PASS ME PISTOL. class my Dad bought Sir Henry at Rawlinson End on LP about 78/79. Thinking about it still makes me chuckle to this day. They should make Old Fools Day a national holiday.
Terribly Yank, but oh so arapaho.
