Ahemm, referring to "the Yids" in general, rather than Israel or Israeli soldiers, does make your comment racist.

Note that moderators can and will take action if you persist in this line of argueing.

PS: replacing "Yids" with "Jews" doesn't make it acceptable.
There are lots of Jews within and outside Israel who wouldn't hurt a fly, and don't 'prosecute' anyone.
By the same token, generalisations about "Muslims" can easily turn into religious slur, which is equally unacceptable.
