North Korean Girl Guitar Player Is Virtuoso

When your government won't let you watch MTV, you have to make your own music.

This video of a little girl from North Korea playing a guitar larger than she is with virtuosic skill was posted on CollegeHumor yesterday, although the video has been on YouTube for over a year.

Tragic really... one can only wonder at what trauma she's been put through to achieve this spectacle.

Looked like she was loving every minute of it to me.

I really enjoyed that performance, and as jj said, it looked like she did as well. Bet she can do a mean "smoke on the water".

I wouldn't go as far as saying she looked like she was loving it. She looked pretty much devoid of emotion from start to finish.

Exactly my first thougt too. I have looked at it again, concentrating on the face. It looks to me like the smile, that broke in the middle of the performance was part of the training.

Devoid of emotion describes it best IMO.

She has a bright future ahead of her with that type of talent.
