    Hong Kong Photo Thread

The family and I spent a week in Hong Kong for Songkran this year.

Finally got around to looking at the pictures, long way to go, but here's a frew from the first couple of days.

Dragon Statue near our hotel next to happy Valley Race Course.

    Market in Causeway Bay.

    Flower Market over in Kowloon.

Near the flower market there was a bird park which seemed to be where locals took their birds for a walk (in their cages) and socialised.

Further down the road was the 'Goldfish Market', Siamese Fighting Fisgh seemed to be very popular.

The first time I was in Hong Kong at night, I immediately thought of 'Blade Runner'. It's obvious the HK visits had a visual effect on Ridley Scott.

Fireworks at Disneyland. Not the best fireworks photos I have ever taken, but not the worst either.

Great shots, BC. Love the Lantau ones, especially. We used to take the boat over for Sunday drunk brunches.

Brings back memories - I was there in the 1950's and the 1960's. Not much seems to have changed in downtown Wanchai - although the bright lights of Victoria seems that little brighter!

I have a range of lenses and tripods, the camera is Canon 5D Mark II.

I need to travel again soon, I'm feeling very stale photographing Thailand and even hong kong.

I feel India calling..................... but the wifes not interested!

You really have an eye for a picture opportunity, Bob.

Go to India, leave the missus at home. One of the lads, DD?, will take care of her while you are away on assignment.

After all, what are friends for?
