Submersible pumps are good for fountains

You will need several heads for a 800 M2 pond
    How deep is it?

Here's a link to a lot of fountains, http://www.flickr.com/groups/399679[at]N23/pool/ Might give you some ideas. As for the hardware, any medium to big sized flower market will have a variety of pumps, tubes and fountain nozzles.

Not familiar with the garden/flower markets or hardware stores in KK. Googled a few resorts and hotels in KK, some have a fountain, ask them. And any big water on government premises or university probably has a fountain. Ask fish farms, if any... Otherwise a trip to Udon Thani? I'm sure somebody must supply them....

you dont need a pump just a simple paddle wheel afair that turns and moves the water around.ive seen these in BKK at the telecoms place near the old immigration office where it has ponds ..

Yes a paddle wheel will work but

    a) it only aerates the surface water
    b) I think a pump will be cheaper

Yes I know and have seen the paddel wheel, but I don't only thinking about my fish it's beatiful with some splashing water from a fontain it will give some live to the pond.
But it may make lot of noise with the splashing fontain.
If I can't find any good one I will try to make one.Good to have some project ongoing, but to make a fontaine will perheps fail for some reason but I will try.
Later on can put a paddel wheel.

^ Keep us informed as to how you get on. Will be in KK towards the end of November and would be very interested in persuading our landlord to do something similar (bigger lake) Cheers.
