| From my experience, but not in the education industry, this type of scam is occurring all the time with mid to low skilled expats who are not of the bar trade variety(the ones most exploited).
Expat Thai's are also very susceptible to "brokers" who commission costs of relocating (repaying the passage), salary % cut and then launder the remittance exchange rate who can very nasty if the worker does not complete the employment contract or pays "the fees" on time.
Up to you, but tread very carefully as their is likely to be some one at the top who is a local and could make your life and career very difficult. |
