| I feel sure I was poisoned at Ao Phrao resort at Koh Samet off the coast of Pattaya-in January 2006. I vomited violently for 12 hours beginning quite suddenly after dinner in the hotel restaurant and with no other symptoms. Had I not been in excellent health , and had my sister , a nurse with me I might have suffered complications from dehydration or far worse.
We left the next day and I was OK 24 hours later.
I was on vacation at the time and believed the hype about wonderful Thai people
But , after living here for 3 years I now realize it was deliberate poisoning, and I believe for complaining about a cup of coffee that was stale.
Thailand is NOT the friendly place it advertises.
