Nice report buddy, I like Mai Sai very much as well. Dont those buses have bigger engines and better suspension for driving the mountain roads? I did the bus 13 years ago, and the last time 8 years ago I did it by motorcycle.

I heard all the unique hill side guesthouses on the hill the left side of the road at the border have been pulled down for "better" development, did you notice this buddy. I used to love those sort of bungalow like rooms there. Spent a very cold windy night up there the beginning of January once. Twas romantic.
