| » Brick Wall vs Concrete Wall |
Aug 20, 2016 - 10:06 PM - by See Will |
Hi all, |
I am still not clear what kind of wall I have to build (430m approx).
This Winter I want to start off with building a wall around my 6 Rai Land.
I was reading about Concrete walls (1800Baht per meter) but they are in my eyes a shame in a mountain surrounded green area.
And when it comes to my most favorite choice, a rustical clay Brick Wall,
I find only these small fire baked bricks with the 2 holes.
Can you imagine a 430m wall... [Read More]

| » Advice needed for visa to UK |
Aug 18, 2016 - 7:19 PM - by AL Bangkok |
My wife and I have been married for close to two years now, and we are looking to take a short holiday back to the UK this coming Christmas for two weeks. As I said, we have been married for two years and were dating five years prior to getting married. My wife has stable employment and earns around 30k Baht per month. By the time we apply for the visa, she'll also have close to 80k Baht in her savings account.
The question I have is regarding me really. I used... [Read More]

| » London Embassy - Non Imm. O Visa |
Aug 05, 2016 - 5:37 PM - by SpeedoBoy |
Hi, I'm thinking of applying for a 3 year Non Immigrant O Visa at the Thai Embassy in London and wondered if anyone had any experience of the process there? I'm under 50 with a Thai wife. I don't work as I have enough income from a couple of rental flats which I can show through bank statements. I just wondered if it was worth the £250 fee or will I have to have a medical and CRO check as this doesn't appear clear and to be honest I've not found them that helpful in the past when applying for... The A/C in my bedloom has started spewing very cold water occasionally. It can be left on all night at 27 D's no plobrem but if I have it on in the lafterloon for a couple of hours I sometimes hear a dripping noise followed about 15 minutes later by a load of freezing cold water. |
Is my A/C freezing up or the outlet blocked??
PS, I had it serviced a while back and got told 'No plobrem Midter', after being charged 400 baht for fuck all.
