Nothing like this for sale around Buriram. Does Bangkok sell it anywhere?
Am no vegetarian but bored of the chicken, pork, seafood and other assorted flesh routine. Make a nifty bolognese, curry and sweet and sour chinky with soya mince when back in Blighty but can't find it here. Leads?
Cheers

Nov 08, 2009 - 8:01 PM - by Missismiggins |
Last year the price of Roundup went through the roof here and hit 1200 Baht for the 4 litre bottles.
(I believe due to Monsantos commitment to existing customers and a world shortage in one of the chemicals they use, due to excessive use by the Chinese.
The price has dropped dramatically here, it is even cheaper than it was 4 years ago, a 4 litre bottle is now going for 590 Baht.
The question is, does anyone know if there is some fake shit going around?
normally, roundup tends to kill everything if mixed at about 150-180ML/per litre.
I am finding i am having to do at least a couple of resprays on some of the grass and creeper vines... [Read More] | |

I've been watching the games all season with no problems . . . until last night. Sopcast could not find any peers and TVU would not open. They seem to be alright now. Were they being blocked last night? Anyone with a similar problem?
Chelsea and Man. U. is on tonight and I'll be mighty pissed if I can't connect.

Nov 08, 2009 - 7:27 AM - by jandajoy |
My dear old landlady from Darwin has decided to visit LOS for a month in January. She's 63, smokes like a chimney, drinks like a fish and swear like a trooper. An all round good un.
Any suggestions or recommendations on TRAVEL INSURANCE for her.
She wants fully comp. and insurance wherebye she just gives a card to the hospital and they claim the money from the company.
NOT, she pays up front then claims it back when she gets home.
Any thoughts?
Yes, I've looked on the net and there's loads. Who to choose?
Cheers

Nov 06, 2009 - 10:49 PM - by dirtydog | Thailand - Software that you would pay money for
Probably the most bought software in Thailand is Microsoft Windows, and at 150baht it is quite good value I suppose, but this thread is for good software that you would actually be sort of nearly willing to pay proper money for, so I shall start it off with Snagit.
I suppose you could use windows print screen but it seems to like to keep it a secret that it has actually worked and seems a lot of hassle, ie it wont work if your "Num Lock" is on, you have to press "ALT" & "Print Screen" if you want to capture just the main window, then it looks like nothing has happened till you... Nov 06, 2009 - 9:36 PM - by demujin |
2 questions:
-Is 15,000 baht enough to get a decent (good graphics/sound performance) desktop PC at PanTip?
-Is 5000 baht for an Asus Striker II motherboard a good deal? how much should I expect to spend on a mother board? Okay three questions.
Thanks in advance...

Hi I am arriving back in Pattaya mid December. As I normally do on one of my first days I will be going for a hair cut and hace a bit of colour added other than grey. Can anyone reccomend a salon where I would be entertained while waiting for the colour to take.
